Careers Carousel – Arts & Crafts Session

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for your interest in SCG’s Careers Carousel, our post-16 event offering 2-hour industry taster sessions over four weeks. To ensure a smooth experience for all participants, please review our booking policy carefully before reserving your place. 1. Session Cancellation by SCG In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session due to staff illness, unforeseen circumstances, or other operational reasons, we will endeavour to notify you at least 24 hours before your booked session. All affected participants will receive a full refund. 2. Participant Cancellation / Rescheduling • You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 48 hours before the session start time. Refunds will be issued in full. • Cancellations within 48 hours of the session or failure to attend (“no-shows”) are non-refundable. • If you experience a sudden extenuating circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds may be issued at SCG’s discretion, but are not guaranteed. 3. Waiting List • Each session has a maximum capacity of 5 students to ensure a high-quality, interactive experience. • If a session is full, you may join the waiting list by emailing careerscarousel@sportingchances.org. • Priority on the waiting list is first-come, first-served, and you will be given 30 minutes to confirm your spot if a cancellation occurs. After this, SCG cannot guarantee availability. 4. Attendance & Punctuality • Our sessions are deliberately small to maximise learning and engagement. • Please make every effort to arrive on time and stay for the full session. Late arrivals or early departures may impact the experience for yourself and other attendees. 5. Health & Safety • By attending, you agree to follow all SCG venue rules and any instructions provided by our staff. • If you are unwell on the day of the session, please do not attend. In some circumstances, this may allow for a discretionary reschedule or refund—contact us as soon as possible. 6. Photography & Media • SCG may take photos or videos during sessions for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to this use. • If you do not wish to be included, please notify staff upon arrival, in an email, or specify so on the booking form. 7.
