At Creative Hair & Lashes we support young people aged 14-16* to achieve their best and develop their interest in hairdressing and lashes, helping them to secure post-16 apprenticeships in salons.
Our courses are taught by industry professionals with an aim to provide students with the strongest start in the hairdressing industry, building a positive foundation for their future career ambitions. By the end of their studies, students will attain a Level 1 Diploma in Hairdressing and/or Diploma in Classic Lashes.
*Post 16-18 years can enrol if they have not found a suitable college placement.
Achieve a Level 1 Diploma in Hairdressing
The L1 Diploma in Hairdressing gives students the opportunity to get creative and use different skills and techniques to sculpt a head of hair. Watching their creations come together helps students build their confidence and self esteem, whilst interacting with others to improve their interpersonal skills.
The course is broken down into the following modules:
1 Intro to Hairdressing
TCB.
2 One Length Haircut
TCB.
3 Hair Braiding
TCB.
4 Hair Styling
TCB.
Accomplish a Diploma in Classic Lashes
Our Classic Lashes course runs two days a week: Day one focuses on theory and Day two on practical skills.
The course follows an in-depth step-by-step process, teaching students a range of skills, including how to grow their business. As an addition, students may have the opportunity to try creating their own handmade fans.
On completion, students will be qualified in Classic Lashes and awarded a diploma certificate.
