The Sporting Chances group provide alternative education provisions for young people that may have social, emotional or behavioural needs that are not met in mainstream education, preventing them from achieving their best.
MISSION STATEMENT
We at Sporting Chances have a vision for all young people to be given the chance to recognise their strengths and fulfil their potential, irrespective of their backgrounds; their current circumstances; their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or other characteristic.
We are dedicated to helping vulnerable young people who, as a result of special educational needs, poverty, challenging family lives, disability, mental health or other factors, are at risk of social exclusion. Using sport and new, creative ways of engagement, our holistic approach helps young people improve their life skills, their access to education, training and employment, empowering them to go on to lead better lives.
We offer young people a bespoke learning experience that priorities their individual needs and interests. Each of our provisions provide different experiences and opportunities. To find out more, please visit the relevant provision page for you.
